Tatiana Birenbaum
Performer - Choreographer - Teaching Artist - Producer
I’m a Brazilian-Argentinian performer, choreographer, teaching artist, and producer based in New York City. I moved here in 2013 to pursue my passion for the performing arts and train at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where I completed the Integrated Program.
My work spans musical theatre, immersive performance, and community-based arts education. Stage credits include Legally Blonde, Brigadoon, Into The Woods, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Before moving to the U.S., I had the incredible opportunity to perform with legendary Brazilian musicians such as Toquinho and Jair Rodrigues.
In NYC, I’ve choreographed productions of Working, The Sound of Music, and the original musical Open Up the Curtains with the St. Jean’s Players. I’m also Dance Captain and Associate Choreographer for the Israeli folk dance group Parparim, and I perform with Group .BR, New York’s only Brazilian theater company dedicated to sharing Brazilian culture through immersive and physical theater.
In 2025, I choreographed and performed in Echo for the New York Theater Festival, which was honored with the Best Production Award at Summerfest 2025.
Beyond the stage, I produce, co-direct, and perform in Let’s Broadway, a monthly themed showcase series hosted at Sid Gold’s Request Room. I’m also an established teaching artist at USDAN: Summer Camp for the Performing Arts, where I have the privilege of mentoring the next generation of performers.
